At 29th May I had an opportunity and pleasure to speak on a monthly meeting of the SQL Server local user group in Belgrade, Serbia. I was impressed with the enthusiasm and professionalism. The local user group leaders Goran Milanov and Dragoslav Ogar have done a very good job and created a respectable SQL Server community.
I spoke about new cardinality estimator in SQL Server 2014, got a several interesting questions and spent a great evening in this great city.
With Goran and Dragoslav I spoke about the conditions and actions required to convert the local user group to an official SQL Pass Chapter. I hope that we can soon say hello to the new SQL Pass member from South Europe. Stay tuned!
